Right before the 12:00:59 deadline the Mets agreed to terms with their 1st round pick, Matt Harvey, and their 6th rounder, Greg Peavey. These signings confirm that the Mets have signed their top 20 picks from the 2010 First Year Player Draft. Here is a run down of bonuses issued to their picks in the first 10 rounds, as well as their one major over-slot deal beyond the first 10 rounds:

3, 89 C Blake Forsythe – signed for $392,400

4, 122 OF Cory Vaughn – signed for $240,300

5, 152 OF Matt Den Dekker – signed for $110,000

6, 182 RHP Greg Peavey – signed for $200,000

7, 212 RHP Jeff Walters – signed for $50,000

8, 242 RHP Kenny McDowall – signed for $125,000

9, 272 RHP Jacob DeGrom – signed for $95,000

10, 302 RHP Akeel Morris – signed for $120,000

The Mets also signed their 24th round pick, Erik Goeddel to a $350,000 signing bonus. Word still could be trickling in about 23rd rounder, Drew Martinez and some late round guys. But all in all it seems another relatively cheap draft from the Mets, spending only $3,857,700 on their first 9 selections, with a giant chunk of that going to Harvey. The only guys to get over slot deals in the top 10 rounds were Harvey(a little under $450k over slot) and Peavey($50k over slot).
